Embracing Change for life and for the planet.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

I recently purchased an electronic device that came with a “Limited Lifetime Warranty.” I got to thinking about that and wondered how many of us are living with a limited lifetime warranty? It is common to think that we are only on this planet for a specific period of time. If we believe that to be true, how many of us are getting the most out of our warranty?  Are we living life or are we just surviving until the warranty is up? How limited is the warranty? Do we put limitations on our lives? Do we have any control over the length of “lifetime?”

In light of my spiritual growth, where I do believe that we are infinite beings and we create our own realities, it seems to me that we can create our own lifetime warranty to be whatever we would like. However, what gets in my way is what the world or this reality has to say about that. For instance, how many people are of the belief that when we age, our bodies break down and pain is inevitable? Hmmm, I wonder why that is the case, is it because we bought into someone else’s realities? What about that if you eat or drink some certain food you will get or prevent cancer? Is that true for everyone? Can I create a different reality? If my point of view creates my reality, then I wonder if I could choose something different. I wonder if my body’s condition is based on what I am creating.

Speaking of our bodies, how do they speak to us? How do they manifest what our true desires are? How are we choosing how we die or pass on or transition? Are we sick and tired of this life; and so our bodies acknowledge that and POOF! our bodies are sick and tired and no one can seem to figure out why. How many people do you know that are still alive just because they are too stubborn to move on? You know the crabby ones that you wonder why they are even choosing to keep their warranty going, they seem so miserable. Here is a thought, what about people who just can’t face this world anymore but feel so obligated to stay for those who love them that they create mental and physical ways of checking out without physically dying? They took out the extended warranty that is way beyond giving the quality of service than was originally intended.

This may sound like I am a bit cold-hearted without any sympathy for those who suffer in life. Not so, I have done my share of suffering, only to come to the realization that it is all by my own creation, even the ones that one would consider being a victim of circumstances. Being that it is my choice to suffer, it is also my choice to live in joy and happiness. What was astounding to me, is that whatever my choice, because it is my choice, it isn’t right or wrong. I’ll admit some choices feel much better than other choices, but I can always choose to do something else. I am considering how to rewrite my Lifetime Warranty so that it does not include any limitations. How does it get any better than that?
